This is a BIG ONE. Our music video for "Trolls" by Estella Dawn has been selected as an Official Selection at the 2021 Birmingham International Film Festival. Congratulations to team Rocket House and our fantastic cinematographer Gio Toninelo. A huge thanks to Estella Dawn for trusting us again with creating visuals for her wonderful music.
"Trolls" has already been accepted as an Official Selection in Romania and Sweden at smaller festivals, but what makes the Birmingham Selection so important to us is the presence of distributors, producers and press from all over the world that will be on hand to view all the films screened and also the chance to network with them at the festival. Many of the industry’s top companies and film schools will also be in attendance offering advice on education and career opportunities.
About the Festival:
The Birmingham Film Festival is a 10-day international film celebration showcasing professional and independent films of all genres, styles, budgets and topics from around the world. The best films will be nominated for a range of awards and those nominees will be screened over the festival weekend.
The Grand Jury will pick the best in each category and winners will be awarded at The Awards Gala at the end of the festival week. Running from November 19th - 28th the festival will also include seminars, Q&As and workshops from top level industry experts and professionals, most of which are free to attend as are all film screenings.
About Birmingham:
Birmingham is a major city in England’s West Midlands region, with
multiple Industrial Revolution-era landmarks that speak to its
18th-century history as a manufacturing powerhouse. It’s also home to a
network of canals, many of which radiate from Sherborne Wharf and are
now lined with trendy cafes and bars. In the city centre, the Birmingham
Museum and Art Gallery is known for pre-Raphaelite masterpieces.
